Which one of the two giants are going to be the default social profile? Why is at stake? For starters, domination in the social media world. Secondly, the amount of money involved. Social commerce is a growing business, which topped $1 billion in US and $5 billion in China. (These figures combine the purchases on Second Life and the gifts on Facebook). And since these numbers are increasing rapidly, Facebook is planning a very simple, one click e-commerce platform.
