Scuba in Washington. Do It!

Scuba has long been a passion of mine, from spear fishing to simply enjoying the sites of the Puget Sound underwater. SCUBA (Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus) is a little expensive to start off with, but pays off in memories and stories told nowhere else. In such a rich area of marine bio-diversity like the Puget Sound it is a real shame to miss out on a chance to experience it first hand.
To begin SCUBA diving there is a steep cost in terms of an eight week class and the price of gear, but renting equipment can reduce the abhorrent costs until you decide SCUBA is right for you. Once certified the ocean is yours and the only limits are those of the oxygen in your air-tanks. So follow the classes and enjoy there is a lot to see below the surface!
