Senators urge Facebook to change privacy settings

Facebook's recent policy changes are mobilizing for senators. The reason being, the senators feel that the opening and sharing of information is violating a lot of users desires to keep information sacred and to maintain control over that information. As of now, settings are set to "opt-out" instead of "opt-in" as the senators feel that it should be. I agree. Its like those pesky advertisements when you buy or sign up for something online. They give you a list all select from the get go, or some only a couple which you have to click out of to not receive anything or even potentially be charged for something you weren't even aware of to begin with.
