Recent coal mine incident

I just found out that over the course of history that the death toll of coal mine mishaps is next to a quarter of a million. Its a dangerous and DIRTY source of energy. The only reason its still in existence is because it is dirt cheap. Now, over the course of history the death toll related to nuclear accidents is a whopping 64. Its a clean source of energy and with today's technology and handling requirements, it is a viable source of energy that nobody is taking advantage of
