Are bloggers journalists or not? Do they have the same rights as professional journalists? The California's Rapid Enforcement Allied Computer Team did not think so when they raided the house of Gizmodo's editor in search for evidence for the leak of the Apple's iPhone 4 leak.
The police's action sure raises the question many have asked for quite some time: what rights, if any do bloggers have? How do you determine who is a professional blogger and should be afforded professional journalist rights and who is not?
While you might not be able to answer this question for now, one thing is sure: we will definitely hear more about this issue from now on.
