McAfee goes berserk

A software update for McAfee Antivirus goes berserk; the culprit, a common windows file. The recent McAfee update identified a common windows file as a virus causing many corporate computers to freeze. One example where the issue had a big impact was in two Rhode Island hospitals, forcing the hospital to stop all non trauma treatments.

Its amazing how something so routine and relatively small can have such a major impact on thousands of people and businesses.
