+35 Demographic Hear Bad News on Facebook
Facebook is increasing its awareness among the older generation of age 35 and older. YouGov BrandIndex scores on if someone has heard of a brand within the past two weeks, and if that news was in a positive or negative light. In 2008, the older demographic viewed Facebook very negatively and made a rebound since then. Currently, the ratings showed that the negative news around Facebook are even made aware to the demographic with ages 35 and older, with scores dropping. This shows how Facebook are making an impact on various demographics. Social media isn't for only the technological savvy.
