Traffic in Bellevue

Bellevue's highly advanced traffic light system is not so advanced in the year 2010. The system was installed back in the 1970's and is now starting to show its age 30+yrs later with the ever growing population. A proposed project that will eventually put into effect is now on the to-do list. Its essentially called a smart traffic system. It will learn on the fly and fluctuate controls on the fly. To many times have we sat at a red light waiting for even one car to pass through the intersection just because its rush hour and most of the traffic is coming from that direction. Well this system will solve issues light that and will reduce light waiting times immensely, over time....We will see
