Coca Cola, not the stuff that comes out of Columbia. Last Sunday, I bought 2 12 packs of Coca Cola from Sam's Club and went through that by myself in less than a week, because I finished all 2 packs yesterday morning. Yes folks, that is an average of 4 cans of coke a day. When I go out to eat, that free glass of water isn't going to suffice in the total enjoyment of my meal. I find it offensive if they don't ask me if I would like something extra to drink. Sure, water is healthy and all that good stuff, but the refreshing drink compliments any meal so well.
Funny thing is that, I hate sugary food items. Cake? Usually too sweet. Chocolate and candy? Too sweet. No, I don't find any satisfaction in those other sugar laden objects. I don't remember the first time I tasted coke, but I usually always had some with a meal ever since I was little. My mom tried to prevent me from drinking it around middle school and throughout high school because she heard of all the negative health benefits accompanied with the drink. However, that didn't stop me from drinking it.
I'm writing this blog so that I can somehow stop drinking this delicious drink. I'm actually drinking one right now, so this will be my last drop of coke for a while. Going to go cold turkey. Wish me luck.
